SMS Consent Workflow

This page shows the MyRouteMap opt-in workflow used for informational ride and route update text messages.

Users are not subscribed by default. MyRouteMap requires an explicit, standalone consent action before route update texts are sent.


Workflow summary

  1. User provides a mobile phone number for route updates.
  2. User checks an unchecked standalone consent box for SMS text messages.
  3. User enables ride notifications for the selected trip or route.
  4. MyRouteMap sends informational route update messages only for the active trip/route context.
  5. User may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

I agree to receive informational SMS text messages from MyRouteMap for ride and route updates related to my selected trip or route, including stop alerts, ETA updates, next-stop details, and trip progress. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
